My 2015 Reflection & New Year Resolutions

My 2015 Reflection & New Year Resolutions

January 3, 2016

Happy New Year everyone!

I can’t believe it’s 2016! For todays post, I wanted to share with you all my 2015 reflection as well as my resolutions for this upcoming year! 2015 was a year filled with love, growing pains and unforgettable life milestones. My favorite day out of the whole year was June 27, 2015 because that meant Johnny and I were finally going to be married! I feel so incredibly grateful for the overwhelming love and support that we received from our friends and family to help us reach this amazing moment. It will be a day that I’ll cherish forever! As much as 2015 was filled with love and happiness it also consisted of enormous amounts of growing pains. Entering my mid-twenties, I felt like I was experiencing a quarter life century crisis. I navigated through my first post-grad job and realized that it wasn’t for me, went through stages of feeling an insane amount of self doubt and questioned my ability as a person. But at the end of it all, I realized that its just about letting the self doubt go away, remembering that we are capable of anything and to surround ourselves with the things/people that make us the happiest!

2016 Resolutions

Putting things into action:

This might sound vague but I’m going to make this my motto for 2016! Instead of day dreaming or talking about doing something, I going to actually do it! I’m going to be resourceful and devise a plan on how I can put my thoughts into motion!

Work on eating better and developing a healthy lifestyle:

I always have this on my list of resolutions to accomplish and it always falls through somewhere during the year and picks back up! But I think after 2015, I realized how important it is to be self-aware and what we can do to feel our best! It’s an ongoing process but baby steps right? 🙂

Growing my YouTube channel and blog:

A passion of mine has always been my YouTube channel and blog! It’s something that has always been on my mind to do consistently but as I look back on it, I haven’t given my channel/blog the love it deserves simply because I was afraid of failing. But after all the lessons learned in the past year, I feel really excited to go forward and enjoy this little piece of the internet without fear!

Thank you all so much for following along, I want to wish you all the best in the new year! I have a feeling 2016 is going to be amazing! Cheers everyone!

xoxo, Nancy

Your year looked absolutely amazing! And don’t worry about the quarter life crisis… I TOTALLY hit one in 2015 and was doubting myself left and right, so it’s been great to hear your refreshing take on life 🙂

Love your resolution about putting things in action. I know a lot of people who miss out on things and always wonder “what if” when all they had to do was get up and TRY something! Dreams don’t work unless you do! Hope you’re having a good year so far 🙂
